Accounting Assistant:  Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. An opportunity to support the accounting department.  Position includes verifying billing, inputting data, sorting, scanning documents, filing, answering telephone, greeting public, and mail distribution. Requires attention to detail, high level of accuracy and  proficiency with MS Office.  High school diploma/GED required, and at least one year accounting experience.

Billing Clerk:  FT Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30.  Process monies pertaining to donations, customer billings, etc.  Position includes billing, posting receipts, preparing input for monthly financial statements, closing entries, collection, and notification of overdue accounts.  Accounts include Targeted Case Management, Title XX (HCBS), Private Fees, Boards of Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Supported Employment, and others.  Serves as a backup for persons served payroll.   Must be proficient with office systems - computers, 10-key, calculators, & phone systems.  Requires HS diploma/GED, working knowledge of accounting, six months A/R,  and must have experience in insurance and medicaid billing.

Community Inclusion Specialist (CIS):  (1-FT- Rutgers)  M-F  8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  CISs have the opportunity to empower individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities by assisting them in making choices and decisions to promote independence and productivity.  Responsibilities include planning and engaging individuals in stimulating, meaningful, & functional activities; developing and following a daily schedule of activities, therapeutic services & training; and providing training on accessing and utilizing community resources.  Requires strong communication and conflict resolution skills.  Must be creative, compassionate, energetic and able to motivate others.  Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, good driving record and dependable vehicle. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less.  Prior knowledge or experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required. 

Direct Support Professionals/CLTs:  Community Living Trainers have the opportunity to work with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a home setting. This position provides training on basic life skills to help the individual be as independent as possible. The staff person must possess basic skills and be able to teach someone how to cook, clean, grocery shop, participate appropriately in community activities, and be safety aware. Must be able to read and understand the goals of persons served, and assist the individual to achieve those goals.  Requires a two-week, weekday, daytime orientation – Paid!  All available positions are evening and weekend shifts. Full time positions that require sleepover are $10.50/hour, positions without sleepover are $9.50/hour. Requires a HS diploma/GED. Prior experience in a related position working with persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred. Requires a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must have a dependable vehicle and proof of vehicle insurance. Skills required include: strong verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution and problem solving ability, organizing and time management skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less.

Environmental Services Technician:  (1FT & 1 PT) Full time M-F 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  Part time 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Responsible for keeping KETCH properties and facilities clean and attractive – providing general cleaning of offices, work areas and restrooms.  Responsible to clean, vacuum, scrub, dust, dispose of trash, maintain adequate supplies, ensure facilities are secure, and assist with snow/ice removal as needed.  Requires working knowledge of safe and proper use of custodial equipment, materials, and chemicals. Previous janitorial experience preferred.  Must have a stable work history, be able to work independently, and be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ total body weight, whichever is less.

Funds Management Clerk:  FT, M-F 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Process monies pertaining to person served spending money, for both Residential and Day programs.  Includes daily issuing and collecting of funds, recording and tracking receipts, and distribution of monthly reports.  Serve as a backup to Accounts Receivable Clerk for daily deposits.  Requires HS diploma or GED & a minimum of 6 months experience in Accounting.  Excel/spreadsheet experience preferred.  Requires valid KS driver’s license with a good driving record.

Grounds Maintenance Technician:  FT position, generally M-F 8:00a.m.-5:00 p.m.  Steady hours year round! Responsible for providing grounds and exterior property upkeep and maintenance at all KETCH facilities and residential properties.  Responsible for following safety policies and procedures and performing duties in a cost effective and efficient manner.  Must have general maintenance knowledge and work experience; be able to use hand tools, power tools, and light shop equipment; and have good communication skills.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less.  Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, good driving record, knowledge of mowing equipment and techniques, and geographical knowledge of the Wichita area.  Will require working in extreme weather/temperature conditions.

Life Skills Trainer: (5- ALS).   FT, M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  Life Skills Trainers work with individuals with severe and multiple disabilities in a day program setting providing training on basic life skills to promote as much independence as possible. Must be able to read and implement plans and goals specific to individuals. Requires assisting individuals with hygiene and providing some personal care. Skills required include strong written and oral communication skills, conflict resolution skills, creativity and organizational skills. Must be compassionate, dependable, patient, creative, energetic and be able to motivate others. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less. Must have knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Public Relations Intern – Website Developer:  Full time/temporary - generally Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.   The Intern will have the opportunity to assist with marketing, website development, and maintaining social media sites.  Responsible for assisting with agency marketing materials, interviews, designing and layout.  Will work in cooperation with media on PR activities /events and seek out newsworthy stories and pictures.  Requires a 2-year college degree or completion of 2 years of a 4-year degree program or equivalent;  experience in creative writing, website design, and social media posting; and excellent communication skills.  Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Residential Supervisor:  (Richmond)  FT, Mon-Thurs plus alternating S/S, noon-8:30 p.m.  Responsible to orient, train, supervise and evaluate all staff on all shifts at the residential site.  Participate in program planning, daily implementation and follow-up.  Provides and oversees daily care, safety and well being of persons served.  Provides appropriate, timely, and ongoing communication.   Assures administrative tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis.  Prefer at least two years of experience in direct services to persons with disabilities and prefer one year of supervisory and management experience.  Prefer direct experience in community living services and/or working with persons with I/DD.  Requires HS diploma or GED, good communication skills, and a valid KS drivers license with a good driving record.

Vocational Trainer: (1-WS) FT M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Responsible for supervising and direct training for persons served in the work services and vocational programs. Must be familiar with using a tape measure and have some basic math skills. Conducts assessments, participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team, and follows through in documenting training with persons served. Also responsible for production scheduling, job set-up, and quality control. Requires HS diploma/GED.
