Be A Volunteer

KETCH provides services that help people with disabilities live and work in the community. Volunteers provide an important service to our organization and help to enrich the lives of persons served. Ongoing volunteer opportunities include:

  • Providing assistance for daily activities in our Adult Life Skills or Work Services day programs.
  • Organizing and helping individuals go swimming or do other exercise activities at the YMCA.
  • Job club speaker or community employment mentor to individuals exploring jobs in the community.
  • Activity assistant in day programs or residential programs. Leisure activities may include sports-type events (walking, basketball, softball, etc.), going to community events or playing board games at home.
  • Clerical support for special projects.
