KETCH CEO to Retire in Spring

WICHITA, Kan. – Carl Lindsey, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Kansas Elks Training Center for the Handicapped (KETCH) announced in May that Ron Pasmore, president and CEO, will retire after 29 years of service to the organization.

 Pasmore will leave the organization in April, 2017, after leading the organization as president and CEO since 1997. The KETCH Board of Directors has appointed Sheila Brown, Chief Financial Officer, to succeed Pasmore. Brown will be the agency’s seventh executive director since incorporating in 1964.

“I am very pleased that the KETCH Board has chosen Sheila,” said Pasmore. “She is very dedicated to KETCH's mission and well prepared to provide its leadership.”

Brown has been with the organization for nine years. Her role as Chief Financial Officer was to provide oversight of the accounting, manufacturing, and IT departments.

 Of her new role, Brown states: “I look forward to working closely with persons served and staff to help guide KETCH into the future.”
