A Teaching and Learning Technology Center

The Tech Zone provides you with the opportunity to learn the technology skills needed in daily life. It was designed to teach you the skills necessary in many community jobs. A variety of computer programs can be used to teach skills to a first-time computer user, or to a person familiar with computers.

The Tech Zone includes:

• Four student workstations
• One instructor workstation
• Call center
• Demonstration ATM
• Cash register equipped with:
  • Bar code scanner
  • Credit card scanner
  • Cash drawer
  • Touch screen
• Printer/Copier/Fax machine
• Adaptive keyboards
• Height adjustable desktops
• LCD projector for training
• Library of computer programs
