Administrative Assistant – Community Living  FT position, M-F 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.   Responsible for providing clerical support to Community Living department.  Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications, excellent/personable communication, organizational and tracking skills, ability to adapt to requests from multiple sources, and type 60+wpm.  Requires HS diploma/GED and 6 months secretarial experience.

Administrative Assistant – Program Support:   PT position, M-F 7:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.  Responsible for receptionist duties, data entry, and general clerical tasks.  Candidate must have expertise and accuracy in 10-key data entry, attention to detail, and excellent customer service/communication skill.  Must key above 8,000 kph and type 60+ wpm. Position requires a HS diploma/GED and one year of office experience including multi-line phone and Microsoft applications.

Behavior Trainer – PACE1: (1) FT, M-F 7:30-am to 3:30pm.  Provides and arranges individualized support services which enable people with autism to participate in meaningful tasks and activities.  Assists the team to develop, implement and follow through with Person Centered Plans; ensures the rights, health and safety of all persons served in the program; and assists them in becoming integrated members of their community.  Maintains appropriate records and ensures documentation is completed and submitted as required. Requires a high school diploma/GED, current valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.

Billing Clerk:  FT Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30.  Position includes billing, posting receipts, preparing input for monthly financial statements, closing entries, collection, and notification of overdue accounts.  Accounts include Targeted Case Management, Title XX (HCBS), Private Fees, Boards of Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Supported Employment, and others.  Serves as a backup for persons served payroll.   Must be proficient with office systems - computers, 10-key, calculators, & phone systems.  Requires HS diploma/GED, working knowledge of accounting, six months A/R,  and must have experience in insurance and medicaid billing.

Bus Driver: (2FT)  FT  M-F split shifts 6:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. plus 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.  or  6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. plus 12:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.  Bus driver for 16 passenger buses – steady hours year round.  Responsible to transport persons served safely to/from work and medical appointments.  Requires HS diploma/GED, valid CDL, and good driving record.  DOT physical and drug and alcohol testing will be required.  Prefer previous driver experience.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) – Group homes:  DSPs have the opportunity to support and coach adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in group home settings.  $9.50-10.50/hr.  Evening/weekend shifts, part time & full time positions with consistent hours.  Responsible to provide training on basic life skills to help individuals be as independent as possible. Assists individuals in building self-esteem and assertiveness, making choices and decisions, and improving health and safety awareness.  Requires high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance.  Prefer previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Requires strong communication skills, problem solving ability, time management skills, and ability to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight (whichever is less). Attendance at a two-week, weekday, daytime orientation will be required – paid training!

Environmental Services Technician:  (1FT) Full time M-F 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  Responsible for keeping KETCH properties and facilities clean and attractive – providing general cleaning of offices, work areas and restrooms.  Responsible to clean, vacuum, scrub, dust, dispose of trash, maintain adequate supplies, ensure facilities are secure, and assist with snow/ice removal as needed.  Requires working knowledge of safe and proper use of custodial equipment, materials, and chemicals. Previous janitorial experience preferred.  Must have a stable work history, be able to work independently, and be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ total body weight, whichever is less.

Environmental Services Technician - Lead:  (1) Full time 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  Provides leadership to the Environmental Services team in keeping KETCH properties and facilities clean and attractive.  Provides and coordinates general cleaning of offices, work areas and restrooms.  Responsible to clean, vacuum, scrub, dust, dispose of trash, maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies, ensure facilities are secure, and assist with snow/ice removal as needed.  Must have working knowledge of safe and proper use of custodial equipment, materials, and chemicals.  Responsible for training and assisting technicians, ensuring appropriate staffing is available, and reporting and documentation is completed.  Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, and good driving record.  Previous janitorial and general maintenance experience required.  Leadership skills preferred.

Funds Management Clerk:  FT, M-F 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Process monies pertaining to person served spending money, for both Residential and Day programs.  Includes daily issuing and collecting of funds, recording and tracking receipts, and distribution of monthly reports.  Serve as a backup to Accounts Receivable Clerk for daily deposits.  Requires HS diploma or GED & a minimum of 6 months experience in Accounting.  Excel/spreadsheet experience preferred.  Requires valid KS driver’s license with a good driving record.

Life Skills Trainer: (3- ALS, 1-CC).   FT, M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.Life Skills Trainers work with individuals with severe and multiple disabilities in a day program setting providing training on basic life skills to promote as much independence as possible. Must be able to read and implement plans and goals specific to individuals. Requires assisting individuals with hygiene and providing some personal care. Skills required include strong written and oral communication skills, conflict resolution skills, creativity and organizational skills. Must be compassionate, dependable, patient, creative, energetic and be able to motivate others. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less. Must have knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Maintenance Technician - Facilities Repairs:   FT - generally M-F 8:00 -4:30 -  includes rotating on-call hours during evenings and weekends.  Responsible for up keep and repairs to KETCH facilities and residential properties. Company provides tools, vehicle for use at work, and a clean working environment. Must have general maintenance knowledge and work experience; be able to use hand tools, power tools, and light shop equipment; and have good communication skills.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less.  Requires HS diploma/GED, verifiable maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, and good driving record.

Public Relations Intern – Website Developer:  Full time/temporary - generally Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.   The Intern will have the opportunity to assist with marketing, website development, and maintaining social media sites.  Responsible for assisting with agency marketing materials, interviews, designing and layout.  Will work in cooperation with media on PR activities /events and seek out newsworthy stories and pictures.  Requires a 2-year college degree or completion of 2 years of a 4-year degree program or equivalent;  experience in creative writing, website design, and social media posting; and excellent communication skills.  Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Residential Supervisor:  (Richmond)  FT, Mon-Thurs plus alternating S/S, noon-8:30 p.m.  Responsible to orient, train, supervise and evaluate all staff on all shifts at the residential site.  Participate in program planning, daily implementation and follow-up.  Provides and oversees daily care, safety and well being of persons served.  Provides appropriate, timely, and ongoing communication.   Assures administrative tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis.  Prefer at least two years of experience in direct services to persons with disabilities and prefer one year of supervisory and management experience.  Prefer direct experience in community living services and/or working with persons with I/DD.  Requires HS diploma or GED, good communication skills, and a valid KS drivers license with a good driving record.

Vocational Trainer: (1-WS) FT M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.Responsible for supervising and direct training for persons served in the work services and vocational programs. Must be familiar with using a tape measure and have some basic math skills. Conducts assessments, participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team, and follows through in documenting training with persons served. Also responsible for production scheduling, job set-up, and quality control. Requires HS diploma/GED.
