Admissions Coordinator:  M-F 8:00 am- 4:30 pm.  Has the opportunity to assist applicants through the admissions process, schedules and facilitates intake and annual meetings, tracks documentation, and conducts satisfaction surveys for persons served.  Provides tours to prospective applicants and represents KETCH at various service recruiting events.   Requires HS diploma/GED; comprehensive knowledge base of working with persons with developmental disabilities;  a working knowledge of social service systems and community services applicable to persons with developmental disabilities.   Requires a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Behavior Trainer – PACE1: (1) FT, M-F 8:15-am to 4:15pm.  Provides and arranges individualized support services which enable people with autism to participate in meaningful tasks and activities.  Assists the team to develop, implement and follow through with Person Centered Plans; ensures the rights, health and safety of all persons served in the program; and assists them in becoming integrated members of their community.  Maintains appropriate records and ensures documentation is completed and submitted as required. Requires a high school diploma/GED, current valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.

Bus Driver: (1-FT)  FT  M-F split shifts 6:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. plus 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.  Bus driver for 16 passenger buses – steady hours year round.  Responsible to transport persons served safely to/from work and medical appointments.  Requires HS diploma/GED, valid CDL, and good driving record.  DOT physical and drug and alcohol testing will be required.  Prefer previous driver experience.

Case Manager:  (1) FT position M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The Targeted Case Manager provides case management services to eligible persons by developing, linking, coordinating, and monitoring services, support and resources within and outside of KETCH.  Serves as a program manager for individuals on caseload and facilitates the development and implementation of the personal plan. Responsible for home visits, assisting individuals with obtaining Medicaid/SSI funds, and advocating for individuals on case load. Requires 4 ½ years verifiable direct care experience OR BA/BS plus six months direct care in a human service capacity, valid driver’s license, and good driving record.

Community Inclusion Specialist (CIS):  FT (Richmond)  M-F  8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  CISs have the opportunity to empower individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities by assisting them in making choices and decisions to promote independence and productivity.  Responsibilities include planning and engaging individuals in stimulating, meaningful, & functional activities; developing and following a daily schedule of activities, therapeutic services & training; and providing training on accessing and utilizing community resources.  Requires strong communication and conflict resolution skills.  Must be creative, compassionate, energetic and able to motivate others.  Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, good driving record and dependable vehicle. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less.  Prior knowledge or experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required. 

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) – Group homes:  DSPs have the opportunity to support and coach adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in group home settings – to increase their independence.  $9.50-10.50/hr.  Evening/weekend shifts - PT & FT positions with consistent hours.  Responsible to provide training on basic life skills - building self-esteem and assertiveness, making choices and decisions,  improving health and safety awareness, and participating in the community.  Requires high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance.  Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is beneficial, but not required.   Requires strong communication skills and the ability to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight (whichever is less). Attendance at a two-week, weekday, daytime orientation required – paid training.

Director of Transportation and Maintenance:  FT M-F 8:00-4:30. Great leadership role.  Responsible to provide oversight, direction, leadership and supervision to campus facilities maintenance, environmental services, and transportation departments - including vehicle maintenance.  Responsible for responding to security or fire alarms for campus buildings.  Develops annual budgets, program policies and procedures to meet quality standards and regulations. Requires bachelor’s degree,  3+ years supervisory experience and strong communication skills.  Must have facilities, home, and vehicle maintenance experience, as well as office computer experience.  Prefer experience with ADA and OSHA regulations, as well as KDOT policies.  Requires valid driver’s license, good driving record and a CDL would be beneficial.

Life Skills Trainer: (5- ALS, 1-Osage).   FT, M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Life Skills Trainers work with individuals with severe and multiple disabilities in a day program setting providing training on basic life skills to promote as much independence as possible. Must be able to read and implement plans and goals specific to individuals. Requires assisting individuals with hygiene and providing some personal care. Skills required include strong written and oral communication skills, conflict resolution skills, creativity and organizational skills. Must be compassionate, dependable, patient, creative, energetic and be able to motivate others. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less. Must have knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Maintenance Technician - Facilities Repairs:   FT - generally M-F 8:00 -4:30 - includes rotating on-call hours during evenings and weekends.  Responsible for up keep and repairs to KETCH facilities and residential properties. Company provides tools, vehicle for use at work, and a clean working environment. Must have general maintenance knowledge and work experience; be able to use hand tools, power tools, and light shop equipment; and have good communication skills.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less.  Requires HS diploma/GED, verifiable maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, and good driving record.

Production Aide:  (1) FT position, M-F 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m.  Responsible to work in a production/assembly area on various contracts using procedures for job set-up, production scheduling, and quality control.  Track production and inventory requirements.  Responsible for proper handling/care of equipment and maintaining a safe work environment.  Requires HS diploma/GED.  Production and assembly experience preferred.

Production Manager:  FT M-F 8:00-4:30  Provides leadership and oversight of KETCH manufacturing activities.  Directs contract operations and directly supervises customer service, contract procurement, purchasing, inventory, materials management, product delivery, and quality control.  Develops and maintains estimation of overhead costs to incorporate into bids, and reviews contracts and pricing of products.  Assures work methods conform to acceptable standards of industrial practice.  BA or BS Degree in accounting, business management, or industrial engineering preferred. In lieu of the degree, a minimum of one year experience in manufacturing/production may be considered.  Requires a minimum of two years supervisory experience.  Production processes experience is desired.

Public Relations Intern – Website Developer:  Full time/temporary - generally Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.   The Intern will have the opportunity to assist with marketing, website development, and maintaining social media sites.  Responsible for assisting with agency marketing materials, interviews, designing and layout.  Will work in cooperation with media on PR activities /events and seek out newsworthy stories and pictures.  Requires a 2-year college degree or completion of 2 years of a 4-year degree program or equivalent;  experience in creative writing, website design, and social media posting; and excellent communication skills.  Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Residential Supervisor:   10th Street locations.  FT, Mon-Thurs plus alternating Sat/Sun 1:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.   A great opportunity to develop leadership skills. Responsible to orient, train, supervise and evaluate all staff on all shifts at the residential site.  Participate in program planning, daily implementation and follow-up.  Provides and oversees daily care, safety and well being of persons served.  Provides appropriate, timely, and ongoing communication.   Assures administrative tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis.  Prefer at least two years of experience in direct services to persons with disabilities and prefer one year of supervisory and management experience.  Prefer direct experience in community living services and/or working with persons with I/DD.  Requires HS diploma or GED, good communication skills, valid KS drivers license with a good driving record, and  ability to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight (whichever is less).

Warehouse Supervisor:  FT position, M-F 8:00a-4:30p hours.  Expand your management experience with responsibilities for our shipping and receiving. Responsible for maintaining the warehouse and inventory items in an efficient, logical manner and maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records. Schedules deliveries and transport of goods between work areas and the warehouse.  Ensures all finished products meet specified quality requirements, and directly supervises warehouse attendant.  Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license with good driving record, and experience with Microsoft Office products.  DOT physical and drug and alcohol testing will be required.  Experience in warehousing, inventory, quality assurance, and shipping/receiving software preferred.
